Being authentic in the workplace is a very important detail to build success. Natalie speaks with Jim Troyer, a man with a military background turned psychologist that received his Ph.D. and is now trying to help workplaces understand the dynamic of all that work together inside of an organization.
The topic is being authentic in the workplace. Do you know yourself and your emotional triggers? Do you have your set performance standards, expectations, and values in place? Being authentic OUTSIDE of the workplace is also very essential. We dive into what holds people back from being authentic and why it's important to do so.
About our guest: Jim Troyer is the founder of Reputation Resources, LLC, a consulting firm that helps businesses minimize workplace conflict, and maximize the purpose, potential, and performance of employees and the organizations in which they work. Jim holds a Ph.D. in Industrial and Organizational Psychology. His area of research is occupational stress, self-regulation, and mindfulness meditation in the workplace.
